5 Minute Action for Friday, 3/31: Gorsuch is Bannon’s Choice – Got to Be a Big “NO”!

He’s being called “a wolf in sheep’s clothing”…just what we need in a Supreme Court judge.

Make no mistake, based on his past record and the fact he is Bannon’s pick, he will support overturning Roe v. Wade; maintain Citizen’s United and give greater power to corporations and take away from individuals; and vote against anything giving LGBT people federal rights, including marriage should it return to the Supreme Court. And this is just for starters.

TODAY’s 5 Minute Action:

Step 1: Join The People’s Defense to learn more and tell your legislators to vote NO on Gorsuch.

  • Click here to go to their website action page and follow the simple instructions to call or send a postcard  – http://peoplesdefense.org/actions/
    • If you already have your senators phone numbers, no need to go through their system; go ahead and call using the script below.
    • (Don’t hit ‘return’ while filling out the postcard until you are done – that sends it)
  • Script for call or postcard:  “I am (name) from (zip code). I urge you to vote NO on Gorsuch. Filibuster if you must. He had a clear record of supporting the demise of federal protections for individuals, esp women, LGBT and other more vulnerable people. And, I don’t believe he will be an independent check on the Trump administration. Vote NO!”

BREATHE AND STEP FORWARD!

Thank you from the TrumpResistance.TODAY team
