Last night’s CNN headline: “Trump aides were in constant touch with senior Russian officials during campaign”
The question remains, what is the deal? What were the deals? Rather than initiating new tactics, we suggest today is time to double down on calls for the release of tax returns by Trump and greater transparency about the conflicts of interest that seem to abound.
As described in yesterday’s 5 Minute Action, there are several approaches currently in the works to address these issues. Pick one or more of the 5 Minute Actions below; double down on an Action you took yesterday or try a new Action TODAY.
Step 1: Don’t let Kevin Brady (R-TX) get away with his decision on Monday to block Bill Pascrell’s (D-NJ) request to have the Ways and Means Committee review Trump’s returns. Brady has proudly posted his decision, so give him some heat on Facebook or his home page – especially if you’re from Texas.

Step 2: Support presidential tax transparency (S.26 and H.R.305) and conflict of interest legislation (S.65 and H.R.371), including the ‘Resolution of Inquiry’ introduced in the House last week.
Call: Your three Members of Congress (1 representative and 2 senators: click here to look them up – lookup).
Script: I’m from _ZIP_. I am calling to request that _name_ publicly support all actions to make transparent the president’s conflicts of interest: the ‘Resolution of Inquiry’, the ‘Presidential Tax Transparency’ bill and the ‘Presidential Conflict of Interest’ acts. I DO care about President Trump’s tax returns and conflicts of interest. Thank you.
